Land for the creation of the recreation ground was acquired in 1899. Features include grassland with trees, a pavilion, tennis and bowling facilities and a Victorian glazed tile fountain. Grassland with trees and shrubs and herb borders add garden interest around the pavilion, tennis courts and bowling green.
St. John Arena is a multi-purpose arena on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The arena was named for Lynn St. John, who served as Ohio State's men's basketball coach and athletic director until 1947.

The park has a couple of hard court tennis courts, some swings and climbing frames for children and an area of lawn. It slopes downhill to the west, away from St. John's road.
Antigua Recreation Ground is the national stadium of Antigua and Barbuda. It is located in St. John's, on the island of Antigua. The ground has been used by the West Indies cricket team and Antigua and Barbuda national football team. It had Test cricket status. It was also known as the Old Recreation Ground, or the Old Rec.

In desperate need of a lot of TLC, the ARG is one of the iconic cricket grounds and it is fabulous just to walk around the ground, see the Honours Board and recall the amazing cricketing history made here. Situated pretty close to the centre of St John's, next to the prison!
