St Patrick's Classical School (Irish: Gréasáin Scoil Chlasaceach Naomh Pádraig) is a Roman Catholic-run school for boys in Navan, County Meath. It has produced a number of politicians, journalists, Irish sports personalities, broadcasters and two winners of the Perrier Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Fringe .
Our History. St. Patrick’s Classical School opened its doors for the first time in September 1930. It was however a much earlier manifestation of Diocesan Education for boys in Navan, St. Finian’s, which established the core educational principles still adhered to over 200 years later.
Choosing the right school for your son is an important decision and we are always pleased to see prospective parents and answer their questions. School Admissions Applications for the year of entry 2024-25 will be accepted from 2nd October 2023. APPLICATION FOR ENTRY TO 1ST YEAR 2024-25.
