  2. St Catherine’s College is the largest college within Oxford University and teaches both undergraduate and graduate students. Although one of the youngest Oxford Colleges, we can trace our roots back to 1868, when a ‘Delegacy for Non-Collegiate Students’ was formed.

This delegacy enabled students to be members of the University without being a member of a college, thus avoiding the prohibitive costs of College membership at the time.

  4. St Catherine's College (colloquially called St Catz or Catz) is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. In 1974, it was also one of the first men's colleges to admit women. It has 528 undergraduate students, 385 graduate students and 37 visiting students as of December 2020, making it one of the largest colleges in either Oxford or Cambridge.

A further number of single rooms, arranged in clusters of three to six rooms with shared bathroom and cooking facilities, are located nearby in St Catherine’s House (on Bath Street, a 15-minute walk from the main college site). St Catherine’s House also offers a recently refurbished common room for all residents to enjoy.
