Biografie. Sophie Kauer wurde 2001 in London in eine britisch-deutsche Familie geboren. Sie begann im Alter von acht Jahren Cello zu spielen und wurde nur 18 Monate später in die Junior-Abteilung der Royal Academy of Music aufgenommen, wo sie ein Stipendium erhielt und mit 16 Jahren alle verfügbaren Preise gewann.
