The Move. The Move was een van de leidende Britse rockbands van de jaren 60 van de twintigste eeuw. De band scoorde negen Top 20-hitsingles in het Verenigd Koninkrijk in vijf jaar, behaalde geen succes in de Verenigde Staten en scoorde met Flowers In The Rain in Nederland op 5. Drie andere singles bereikten in Nederland de hitparade.
Something Else From The Move was a live EP of cover songs that still gives a decent-enough idea about what the band was all about live in its earlier stages. The upside is that there's plenty of energy and the performances are decent enough. The downside is the afore-mentioned concept of all 5 tracks being covers, and the band's original music was infinitely more interesting... and the choice ...

16 de jul. de 2016 · “Something Else From The Move” is accompanied by a 16 page color booklet with an essay by reissue series compiler Mark Powell, complete track annotations and tons of groovy photos. This release is symbolic of the entire reissue project of pre-EMI Harvest recordings by The Move and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
