Todd’s biggest problem is that he doesn’t let any air into the studio. He’s content to do it all by himself (not counting recent collab records), and it suffers. Arena is a great example. Kick ass songs, but something is lost because he won’t send off the stems to his cohorts, to add live instrumentation. I mean, let’s face it.
