Some Kind of Heroin is the first remix album by Norwegian solo artist Mortiis. The album is a collection of remixes of songs taken from Mortiis' previous album The Grudge. In a press release Mortiis has said:
On 16 April 2007 Mortiis released a remix album titled Some Kind of Heroin, reworking material from The Grudge, via Earache Records.

Some Kind of Heroin is thus not really a necessary purchase for any fans of the now-unmasked rubber troll, though it's still fun for a spin or two. Apart from 15 remixed tracks, there's also one new effort here, which is a nice addition to the material and fits into a similar style.
