The original members of the band met in and around the middle-class neighborhood of Forest Hills in the New York City borough of Queens. John Cummings and Thomas Erdelyi had both been in a high-school garage band from 1965 to 1967 known as the Tangerine Puppets.
1 de may. de 2024 · The song is credited to Joey, Dee Dee, and Johnny Ramone. It’s the track that opens side two of the album. Like so many great Ramones songs, the track kicks off with a bang, with all instruments coming in together. From what I can tell, there are probably four guitar parts here.

Most people assume the rhythm, the bass and drums, lock in together. But with the Ramones it was more the guitar and drums. I locked in with Johnny, and Dee Dee’s bass was the underpinning of it all.
