The Sound of 65 is the debut album by rhythm & blues / jazz group The Graham Bond Organisation, featuring its best-known line-up of Graham Bond (vocals, alto saxophone, Hammond B-3 organ and Mellotron ), Jack Bruce (vocals, acoustic and electric basses, harmonica), Dick Heckstall-Smith (tenor and soprano saxophone) and Ginger Baker (drums). 9 de abr. de 2019 · Released several years after the Graham Bond Organisation had disbanded, Solid Bond resurrects an unreleased recording session from 1966 with Dick Heckstall-Smith and Jon Hiseman and adds a few unreleased live tracks from 1963 (this time with Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce and John McLaughlin) to round out a double album of new music.
En 1970 se publicó también Solid Bond, un álbum doble que recoge temas en directo grabados en 1963 por el cuarteto de Graham Bond (Bond, McLaughlin, Bruce y Baker) y una sesión de estudio de la Graham Bond Organisation (Bond, Heckstall-Smith y Hiseman) grabada en 1966.
