Recorded in concert on 20th and 29th July, 1975, Tokyo, by Trio Records and Delmark Records. Thanks to Jimmy Dawkins. PRODUCER'S NOTE: Most of the material on this album has appeared previously in Japan on Trio LP # PA-3086. The present LP has been entirely remixed and reprogrammed, however, and "Crosscut Saw" was not issued on the Trio album.

John Mayall (organ & vocals) perfroms at the 2008 Montreux Jazz Festival on July 7, 2008 with his band the “Bluesbreakers” featuring Buddy Whittington (guitar), Greg Rzab (bass), Jay Davenport (drums), and special guest Gary Moore (guitar). The “Bluesbreaks” have been led by British bluesman John Mayall since the early 1960s.
