Release Notes. The Flesh Volcano was a side project of singer Marc Almond and JG Thirlwell. The Flesh Volcano’ sole release was the Slut EP, which was expanded to album length in a number of reissues. Almond and Ruin were formerly bandmates in The Immaculate Consumptive.

Hole is a Scraping Foetus Off the Wheel album released in September 1984. It was the first Foetus material released by Self Immolation through Some Bizzare. Combining disparate and seemingly incohesive styles and disciplines, his music as Foetus pulls in several directions to create a complex combination of sonic experiments, chance, and glorious harmonious absurdity.
Real Name: James George Thirlwell. Profile: Born: January 29, 1960, Melbourne, Australia. Native of Melbourne, Australia, Jim Thirlwell conceived the basic Foetus concept, when he relocated to London in 1978. The first Foetus release "OKFM / Spite Your Face" appeared in January 1981 on Thirwell's own Self Immolation label.
