Steppenwolf released three albums during this period, the most successful being "Slow Flux". After three albums, Steppenwolf was dissolved in 1976. The group was re-formed in 1980 and broke up for the last time in 2018. Steppenwolf's newest studio album was Rise & Shine, released in 1990.

Slow Flux er det sjuande studioalbumet til det kanadisk-amerikanske rockebandet Steppenwolf.Albumet kom ut i august 1974 på Epic Records.I USA vart det gitt ut på Mums Records, eit kortliva dotterselskap av CBS Records.Det var det første av tre album som bandet laga etter at det danna seg på nytt i 1974, før det vart oppløyste igjen i 1976.
