  2. 7 de oct. de 2017 · My air bag light is on on my 07 Silverado Classic 1500. The first code I got was a B0101 (Discard Electronic Front End Sensor 1) so I replaced the driver side with a new sensor from Napa. That did not clear the air bag light but did change the code. Now I get a B0100 code (Electronic Front End Sensor 1 Performance).

  4. My 2006 Silverado. I have a McGaughy's, lowered suspension underneath. Nodular 2 1/2" drop spindles in front, 2-4" drop hangers/shackles in the rear, set for 3" drop to level it out. Front suspension completely rebuilt with MOOG suspension. ALL isolating components replaced with 'Prothane'...

  5. 20 de ene. de 2018 · For the others on here with properly mounted batteries 😉 you may want to take a look at the engine mounts. We had a 97 Silverado that would shudder and shimmy at this range RPM then straighten out. Turns out the mounts were shot and replacing them fixed it.

  6. 9 de mar. de 2020 · My 2010 Silverado did the same thing. 111,422 mile on a 5.3 L V-8 with EFM system. Cause was catastrophic valve train failure, cylinder #7. New engine time. Engine tear down showed oil starved lifter wear in cylinder #7 and considerable oil sludge in the left rocker cavity while the right side was clean.

  7. 11 de dic. de 2014 · My 04 Silverado will ride up to and including 100MPH but it then stops increasing speed and slows down to about 80/90MPH before acceleration will resume. Any way to remove this? The tachometer has no redline, and I'm sure the engine can do more than 100, is this for Governmental safety regulations, or does the truck itself not go faster than 100 due to mechanical safety issues?

  8. 23 de ene. de 2020 · My 2017 Silverado with 11K miles on it (still under warranty) has a bothersome problem. When initially putting it in 'Drive' and slowly starting out on a slight downward grade, when the transmission shifts from 1st to 2nd, a loud 'clunk' sound comes from the rear end.

  9. 27 de ago. de 2019 · Hi, this is my first post to the forum. Recently acquired 2006 silverado with lq9 engine. Trying to figure out an alternator overcharging issue. Had overcharging issue and replaced alternator after mechanic said issue was internal voltage regulator. Also put in new battery at that time as. Well, still overcharging.

  10. 9 de oct. de 2010 · Alright anything from 1999-2002 in the Silverado/sierra 1500 range. and anything from 2000-2002 Suburban Yukon XL, Tahoe, and Yukon will fit. they have to be 1/2 ton, and also you need to be sure that it comes from a truck with either 2wd or 4wd depending on what drivetrain your truck has. Any any body style will fit the trannies are identical.
