Show Dog Nashville is an American independent record label specializing in country music artists. It was founded in 2005 by singer Toby Keith . It was later merged with Universal South Records into Show Dog-Universal Music in December 2009 until it was re-activated in late 2015.

19 de nov. de 2014 · Show Dog Nashville, the independent label founded by Toby Keith, has signed an exclusive worldwide distribution and services agreement with Universal Music Group Nashville (UMGN). The arrangement will result in a closer association between the two companies, with UMGN providing service for A&R, creative, finance, marketing and sales to Show Dog.

He could get a single to #1 just by releasing it. Keith put 20 #1 singles on the charts during an eight year run, and had another seven #2’s.
18 de dic. de 2009 · Toby Keith ‘s Show Dog Nashville is merging with Universal Records South to become Show Dog-Universal Music. Keith will serve as a Principle of the new label and previous Universal South Pres. Wright is on board as President of the newly combined entity. More announcements are expected in January.
