Le isole Shetland ( /ˈʃɛtland/ [1], in inglese [ˈʃɛtlənd]; dall'antico scots Ȝetland, in inglese e scots Shetland Islands, in norn Hjaltland, in gaelico scozzese Inse Shealtainn) sono un arcipelago sub-artico della Scozia che sorge a nord-est dell'isola della Gran Bretagna e costituisce parte del Regno Unito .
