Shelley College (formerly known as Shelley High School) is a coeducational upper school and sixth form on the border between the villages of Shelley and Skelmanthorpe, West Yorkshire in England. The school gained Academy status in September 2011, as Shelley College - A Specialist Centre for Science.
I feel privileged to have worked at Shelley College since 2004. I have held a variety of positions in my time at Shelley College ranging from a curriculum leader, Head of Sixth Form and Assistant Principal. In my current role, I have the opportunity to work closely with the Principal influencing and designing the curriculum we offer.

Our main College entry requirements are as follows: A minimum of five 9-4 grades at GCSE, including English and Maths (at least to Level 4) from five different subject areas. Purely vocational pathway require a minimum of four 9-4 grades at GCSE, including English and Maths (at least to Level 4) from four different subject areas.

Personal Development Morning is running P1-3 on the 20th March. Published 19/03/24. March 20th is a Personal Development morning at Shelley College. This will see students off-timetable Period 1-3 to attend statutory sessions for PSHE, Citizenship and RS. During the morning, students in all lower school year groups will cover statut.
