The recordings on the CD release Seven Day Weekend are culled from a The New York Dolls rehearsal tape recorded at Daily Planet Studios, NYC in March 1973. In order to keep the release down to a single CD, three of the twenty-two songs that were recorded were omitted (‘Bad Girl’, ‘Pills’, and ‘Personality Crisis’).

24 de nov. de 2009 · I really like this disc because the Dolls don't sound slicked-up yet for mainstream commercial audiences and I don't have an image in my mind of a group of guys dressed up in drag or glamming it up with high-heel boots with too much make-up.
