First-Year Applicants. We consider you a first-year applicant if: You are still in high school at the time you apply, You have completed high school but have not yet started college, You have completed less than one year of full-time study (approximately 30 credits) at the college level. Tuition & Costs. The fees for tuition and room include expenses connected with the education and residence of the student. The cost of books and supplies needed for course work is not included. Students usually budget an additional $900-$1,200 for books, supplies, recreation, and personal items. Several meal plans are available at additional cost.
