She also appeared as Detective Sergeant Camille Bordey in the joint British-French crime comedy-drama Death in Paradise, filmed in Guadeloupe, a French overseas department.
Sara Martins is a Cape Verdean-descent actress who starred in Death in Paradise and other films and TV shows. She was born in Portugal and studied at the École de théâtre Les Enfants Terribles and the National Academy of Dramatic Arts.
