In October of 1984 Sandy was offered the drum seat in Firefall where he has stayed since. Sandy now lives in southern Oregon with his awesome wife Sam and his great Golden Doodle (Wackadoodle) Stella.
In 1984, Florida native, drummer SANDY FICCA joined into the group. The big guy immediately added new strength and power to songs like ‘You Are The Woman,’ ‘Strange Way’ and all of Firefall’s other ‘lighter’ hits.

The band's biggest hit single, "You Are the Woman", peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976. Other hits included "Just Remember I Love You" (#11 in 1977), "Strange Way" (#11 in 1978), "Cinderella" (#34 in 1977), "Headed for a Fall" (#35 in 1980), and "Staying with It" (#37 in 1981).
10 de ago. de 2021 · The group went through breakups, reunions, and many lineup changes, but the current band (Bartley, Andes, Muse, singer/guitarist Gary Jones, and drummer Sandy Ficca,) have just released Comet (Sunset Blvd. Records). It’s their first new studio album in over two decades.

And with drummer Sandy Ficca and our newest member, lead vocalist Gary Jones from Nashville, I think we succeeded with Comet.
