Sandown Bay Academy, formerly Sandown High School, was an academy status secondary school located in Sandown on the Isle of Wight, England. From 2012 to 31 August 2018 it was sponsored by the Academies Enterprise Trust. On 31 August 2018, the academy closed.

Set in the heart of Sandown on the Isle of Wight, The Bay Church of England School caters for ages 4 to 16 over two sites and offers an excellent and diverse provision for all. Inspiring learners, within our supportive Christian ethos, so that each and every child has the opportunity to excel.
At KS5 our curriculum is designed to enable students to choose to study a range of subjects at A-Level or Level 3 vocational courses. Full qualifications are usually achieved after two years and students choose four subjects to study at the start of Year 12.

English - Sandown Bay Academy. Our aim for our students is to ensure that they become effective communicators: that they are able to express their thoughts, views and ideas coherently and concisely. We want the overwhelming majority to leave with a grade C or higher in English language and have a reading age that matches their chronological age.
