AT THE TOP OF THE YEAR, THE GOVERNOR PROPOSED CLOSING THE HOSPITAL AND DIVERTING SERVICES BY THE SUMMER, LEADING TO GREAT OPPOSITION FROM ADVOCATES AND LAWMAKERS, WHILE THE GOVERNOR AND LEGISLATIVE LEADERS WERE ENGROSSED IN NEGOTIATIONS.
18 de abr. de 2024 · BROOKLYN, NY – SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (Downstate) announced that New York State Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand have secured $2.7 million in federal funding to support Downstate’s Central Brooklyn Comprehensive Maternal and Child Health Network.
