S.F. Sorrow est un album du groupe de rock anglais The Pretty Things, paru en 1968.. Il s'agit de l'un des premiers opéras-rock : basé sur une nouvelle écrite par le chanteur Phil May, l'album est structuré comme un cycle de chansons racontant l'histoire de la vie d'un certain Sebastian F. Sorrow qui connaît l'amour, la guerre, la folie et le désenchantement de la vieillesse.

Los Pretty Things fueron uno de esos fantásticos grupos que, tras brillar en el circuito de R&B londindense de los años 60, supieron evolucionar de manera creativa hacia sonidos psicodélicos de entidad, dejando para la posteridad uno de los grandes discos del estilo lisérgico y la primera ópera rock de la historia: “S. F. Sorrow” (1968).
