  5. Porter still tours consistently with the Runnin' Pardners, Joyride, and The Funky Meters. He plays sporadically with the four original members of the Meters, now known as The Original Meters and also frequently collaborates with other musicians, many of whom are from New Orleans.

  6. Highlighting "Runnin' Partner" are two contributions by ace guitarist Earl King: "Rough Spots" and "Don't You Make Me Ig'nunt." King also sits in on these two cuts, which are given uptempo, funkified treatments by Porter.
