Ronald Harkai (May 26, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio – December 6, 2022, in Grand Rapids, Michigan), often known by the nickname Ronnie, was a musician best known as the drummer on the top-five single "Time Won't Let Me", by Cleveland-based rock band The Outsiders.

Later that year, Fox departed for college and was replaced by Ronnie Harkai, who would play drums on "Time Won't Let Me." Around the same time, the band recruited Sonny Geraci to handle the lead vocals. The group was under contract with Pama Records, which was owned by King's uncle, Patrick Connelly.
Ronnie Harkai, drums (joined in 1964-during which time The Starfires transitioned into the band, The Outsiders) Jazz sax player, Tony "The Big T" Lovano also played with the Starfires on numerous gigs throughout Cleveland. 14 de jul. de 2018 · Ronnie Harkai returned to record cuts on the second album Album No. 2, along with Ricky Baker. A short-lived but memorable cover of the Isley Brothers' "Respectable" from Album No. 2 reached No. 15 in early September 1966.
