Ronald Harkai (May 26, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio – December 6, 2022, in Grand Rapids, Michigan), often known by the nickname Ronnie, was a musician best known as the drummer on the top-five single "Time Won't Let Me", by Cleveland-based rock band The Outsiders.

Later that year, Fox departed for college and was replaced by Ronnie Harkai, who would play drums on "Time Won't Let Me." Around the same time, the band recruited Sonny Geraci to handle the lead vocals. The group was under contract with Pama Records, which was owned by King's uncle, Patrick Connelly.
The Outsiders were a continuation of the Starfires: Tom King, Sonny Geraci, Mert Madsen, Richard Kriss, Al Austin and Howard Blank (who was replaced by Ronnie Harkai before the recording of "Time Won't Let Me"). The name was changed to The Outsiders after the recording of "Time Won't Let Me".
