Prism (styled as PRiSM) is a Canadian rock band formed in Vancouver in 1977. They were originally active from 1977 to 1984 and have been active again from 1987 to present. Their classic line-up consisted of lead singer Ron Tabak, guitarist Lindsay Mitchell, keyboardist John Hall, bassist Allen Harlow and drummer Rocket Norton.

Ron Tabak was an opera-trained vocalist in the Canadian rock group, Prism. His death is somewhat a mystery. It is believed that he was struck by a passing vehicle while riding his bicycle. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital where doctors did not find anything wrong with him.

The group - consisting of singer Ron Tabak, lead guitarist Lindsay Mitchell, rhythm guitarist Allan Harlow, drummer Rocket Norton and John Hall on keyboards - had several hit singles and albums in Canada beginning with their self-titled debut album.
