Ronald Jeffrey Hextall (born May 3, 1964) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender and executive. He was most recently the general manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Hextall played 13 seasons for the Philadelphia Flyers, Quebec Nordiques, and New York Islanders.
Ron Hextall is a former goaltender who played for five NHL teams from 1982 to 1999, winning the Vezina Trophy in 1986-87. He also won the Dudley (Red) Garrett Memorial Award in 1985-86 and the Conn Smythe Trophy in 1986-87. See his career stats, awards, and related information on hockeydb.com.
