11 de dic. de 2017 · Wild Cherry drummer Ron Beitle has died. Beitle had reportedly been in a coma since November 18th after experiencing complications following a second surgery. He was 64 years old. Beitle helped coin the phrase: “Play That Funky Music, White Boy,” which inspired Rob Parissi to pen Wild Cherry’s #1 hit song.
