Both Venuti and Lang rejoined Roger Wolfe Kahns' orchestra in 1932 and played and recorded with him until Eddie Lang's death in 1933. Venuti (with Eddie Lang) in Paul Whiteman's Orchestra from the 1930 film King of Jazz performing "Wild Cat".
Early on in his career Kahn made several recordings under the name Roger Wolfe Kahn and His Hotel Biltmore Orchestra. It was during September, 1925, that Joe Venuti joined the Kahn Orchestra during their residency at the New York Biltmore Hotel .

He toured with Jean Goldkette, with Roger Wolfe Kahn (October 1925 until June 1926); played for many Broadway shows; worked in the short-lived Adrian Rollini Big Band (September 1927). Throughout the 1920s regularly co-led band with Ed Lang in N.Y. and other East coast clubs.
