Robert Louis "Bob" Behnken ( /ˈbɛnkən/, 1 28 de julio de 1970, Creve Coeur, Misuri) es un oficial de la Fuerza Aérea de los Estados Unidos, astronauta de la NASA y exjefe de la Oficina de Astronautas. Robert Louis Behnken (/ ˈ b ɛ n k ə n /; born July 28, 1970) is an American engineer, a former NASA astronaut, and former Chief of the Astronaut Office. Behnken holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering and the rank of colonel in the U.S. Air Force, where he served before joining NASA in 2000.
Test Engineer for the 4th F-22. While serving in the Air Force, Behnken achieved the rank of Colonel. He has flown more than 2,000 flight hours in more than 25 different types of aircraft.
