Richard Elfman (born March 6, 1949) is an American actor, musician, director, producer, screenwriter, journalist, author and magazine publisher.
Richard Elfman is a multi-talented artist who has directed films such as Forbidden Zone and Bloody Bridget, acted in Oingo-Boingo and The Geologist, and produced Buzzine magazine and website. He is also the brother of Danny Elfman and the father of Jenna Elfman.

Richard Elfman is a director, writer, actor and percussionist who has worked with his brother Danny Elfman on the band Oingo-Boingo and the film Forbidden Zone. He is also a published journalist, a food and wine critic and a family man with a wife and children.
Richard was born in the Watts district of inner-city Los Angeles. When he was five his family moved to Crenshaw (‘Boyz in the Hood’), where he was exposed to diverse cultural influences, including African and Afro-Cuban percussion, which led to a lifelong musical career.
