Look, I like Burton well enough, but he deteriorated rapidly after the 1960s except for Virginia Wolf and some stay performances.

26 de nov. de 2020 · It's been rumored several times that Richard Burton hateraped Elizabeth Taylor's husband at the time Eddie Fisher when Burton was wooing Taylor away from him--just to show Eddie who was the real boss. There used to a longstanding Datalounge rumor that a big European soccer stars hateraped another--I can't remember which two, though.

Marlon Brando recounted a story in his book, about Burton making a racist comments about the skin color of Marlon girlfriend and going on and on about it until Marlon threatened to beat him up if he didn't shut up.

Don't kid yourself - Elizabeth did not match Burton glass-for-glass. He was the kind that stared with scotch for breakfast. Burton looked old in his twenties.

Who the hell is clutching pearls over Richard Burton possibly being gay? First of all, compulsive, near indiscriminate philanderers often are. It's a hallmark of Casanova syndrome. Second, I believed he admitted to homosexual experiences in school. While plenty of people are all, "It's a right of passage of British schoolboys - means nothing."
