Richard David Briers, CBE (14 January 1934 - 17 February 2013) was an English actor whose career has contained theatre, television, film and radio. Briers was born in Raynes Park, Surrey, England. In 1961, Briers got the lead male role in Marriage Lines in the 1960s.
