His father, Robert Stewart, was a Scottish football player and his mother, Elsie Gilbart, was an Englishwoman. Rod Stewart’s family settled in North London when he was still a child. Now, as of 2021, Rod Stewart is 76 years old.
Stewart has achieved 10 number-one albums and 31 top-ten singles in the UK, as well as 16 top-ten singles in the US, four of which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. He began his music career in the 1960s and was a member of several bands, including The Jeff Beck Group and Faces. Stewart's music is a fusion of rock, folk, and pop.
