  5. “The Red Shoes was the first album to be recorded for the CD format rather than vinyl. It really affected how I thought about the shape of the album.

  6. In the title track, Bush's vocals are loud and clear. It's mixed very well. Then in the next song everything is much quieter, and her vocals seem to be mixed further back in the soundscape. In any case, if you're getting into Kate Bush collecting, I think these collections are worth it. You can still find them all on Amazon.
