Her musical partnerships in the 1980s included former Byrd member Gene Clark (which resulted in a duet album, So Rebellious a Lover) and Mick Taylor. The Carla Olson and Mick Taylor band included George Callins on guitar, Jesse Sublett on bass (Sublett had previously played with Olson and Valentine in Austin in a band called the Violators), Tom Jr Morgan on saxophone, and Rick Hemmert on drums.
Reap The Whirlwind (?, 1994) – Taylor is featured on 3 tracks. The Ring of Truth (2001) – Taylor plays on 9 of the 12 tracks. Note: Too Hot For Snakes and The Ring of Truth were released by Fuel/Universal autumn of 2012 as a 2-CD set with 3 bonus tracks including 2 previously unreleased songs from the Roxy Theatre.

17 de ene. de 2024 · Taylor hit another career milestone when he teamed up with former Textones singer and songwriter Carla Olson for a series of albums that included Too Hot For Snakes, featuring a reprise of the Stones song “Sway,” Within An Ace, Reap The Whirlwind, and The Ring of Truth.
