26 de oct. de 2006 · Where the cuts on "Real to Reel" capture the energy of early Marillion live shows, the three live cuts from "Brief Encounter" that close this CD seem almost by-the-numbers. The B-sides are interesting, but certainly not representative of the rest of the band's early works.

If you love Marillion with Fish you don't need me to tell you that this combination produced some of the best rock of the 80's. Sadly they didn't and couldn't stay together and went their separate ways. If you don't really know Marillion with Fish this is a good album to get and a must have album if you love rock with real meaning to the lyrics.
