17 de ago. de 2022 · Guitarist Ray Majors has passed away together with his partner Sandy Dillon. Ray played guitar with Hackensack before playing with MOTT from 1975 to 1976 and British Lions from 1977 to 1978. My thoughts are with Ray's and Sandy's families at this difficult time. 10th August 2022.

Dillon and Majors also contributed vocals and guitar to Sisters Euclid's album 96 Tears, a collection of cover versions. Dillon died in London in August 2022. Ray Majors is now celebrating his fifth decade in music having served with HACKENSACK, MOTT, BRITISH LIONS, BOX OF FROGS and The YARDBIRDS. He is also celebrating the fact he is still alive, against tremendous odds having fought successfully Stage 3 throat cancer.
The Yardbirds are an English blues rock band from London. Formed in May 1963, the group originally included lead vocalist Keith Relf, lead guitarist Anthony "Top" Topham, rhythm guitarist Chris Dreja, bassist Paul Samwell-Smith, and drummer Jim McCarty. [1] . In October, Topham was replaced by Eric Clapton. [2] .
