Ravensbourne specialises in digital media and design. It was established in 1959 when the Bromley School of Art merged with the Beckenham School of Art. The university was originally situated in Chislehurst, in the London Borough of Bromley, but in 2010 it relocated to a purpose built campus in inner London on the Greenwich Peninsula.
