Raphael Saadiq (/ s ə ˈ d iː k /; born Charles Ray Wiggins; May 14, 1966) is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. He rose to fame as a member of the multiplatinum group Tony!
The tour marks a momentous homecoming as Raphael Saadiq, his brother D’wayne Wiggins and Timothy Christian Riley will perform as Tony! Toni! Toné! for the first time in nearly 25 years. Born Raphael Wiggins, Saadiq developed his passion for music in his hometown Oakland, California. By the age of six, he had learned to play the bass and began performing at church, school, and community events. It was at this age that he developed his passion for soul music in its various incarnations.
