Students from around the world have found a home away from home at Randolph College. The College has welcomed students from Australia, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Iceland, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, New Zealand, Sweden, South Africa, South Korea, and Taiwan.
More than just a musical theatre school, Randolph College transforms performers into multi-talented professional artists through a rigorous training program that integrates acting for the stage and screen, vocal, and dance (jazz, ballet, tap), as well as theory and history.
Website. randolphcollege.ca. The Randolph College for the Performing Arts (formerly Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts) is a private career college specializing in singing, dancing and acting. It was founded on September 8, 1992, by George C. Randolph Jr.
Established during Canada’s mega-musical revolution in the 1990s, the Randolph College for the Performing Arts was the country’s first post-secondary educational institution to offer multi-disciplinary “Triple Threat” training to aspiring professional performers.
Chua is the Catherine Ehrman Thoresen ’23 and William Erness Thoresen Professor of Music at Randolph College, where she has taught since 2002, and is the chair of the Performing Arts Department. Prior to that, she served as chair of the Music Department for twelve years.
Students enrolled in the Performing Arts Program may be eligible, if qualified, for loans, grants, or awards granted under the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). You are eligible to apply for OSAP if you meet the following residency requirements:
