Wondering if anyone knew if the song Railroad Bill (that I believe was originally written by Ramblin Jack Elliott) was inspired by the song Freight Train by Elizabeth Cotten, from what I can find Cotten wrote Freight Train about 80 years before Railroad Bill was written, and both sound extraordinarily similar, though I couldnt find any coorelations between the two
