Ralph Humphrey (April 14, 1932 – July 14, 1990) was an American abstract painter whose work has been linked to both Abstract Expressionism and Minimalism. [1] [2] He was active in the New York art scene in the 1960s and '70s. His paintings are best summarized as an exploration of space through color and structure.
