This CD crams in Ron's Transatlantic Records debut LP from 1967, the extraordinarily eccentric A RAISE OF EYEBROWS, and his first self-produced release AS HE STANDS, from 1973. In between these albums, Ron had directed the Pink Floyd opus Atom Heart Mother and collaborated with Roger Waters on the MUSIC FROM THE BODY album.

After his first solo album in 1967, A Raise of Eyebrows, Geesin launched a one-man record company with the self-released As He Stands, Patruns, and Right Through. In 1971, he produced and played on the pastoral " Songs for the Gentle Man " by Bridget St John .

A Raise of Eyebrows is the debut album by Scottish composer Ron Geesin, released in June 1967 by Transatlantic Records. Recorded in his home studio in Notting Hill, Geesin aimed to make a humorous album of social commentary that reflected his musical abilities.
