This close-knit boarding community is set on a beautiful 800-acre estate, enjoying the benefits of rural surroundings as well as easy access to Oxford, being only four miles from the university city.

Radley College was founded by the Reverend William Sewell, Fellow of Exeter College, Oxford, to provide an independent school education on the principles of the Church of England. It was opened on 9 June 1847 and incorporated by Royal Charter in 1890.
