Mainstream is the only album of the UK band Quiet Sun . The band had originally split up in 1972. Phil Manzanera joined Roxy Music, Bill MacCormick joined Matching Mole, Charles Hayward joined This Heat and Dave Jarrett became a mathematics teacher.
British progressive rock band. A kind of seminal super-group Quiet Sun existed in two phases:the original band formed in 1969 who disbanded after Phil Manzanera joined Roxy Music, and then again in 1975 they reformed specially to record the music they had originally composed 5 years earlier.
