www .queenswood .org. Queenswood School is a girls-only independent school located near Hatfield, Hertfordshire, twenty miles from London. It offers admission at ages 11, 13 or 16 (for sixth form ). The Good Schools Guide 2013 described Queenswood as "a girls' school to which others should aspire."
We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, where science and maths are as popular as humanities, languages and the arts. We are immensely proud of the academic value we add: girls achieve at least one grade higher per subject at GCSE than they would at an average independent school.
Entry to Queenswood is by examination, interview and satisfactory reference from the Headteacher of the applicant’s current school. To start this process, a registration must be completed. You can view our full Admissions Policy in the Policies section of this website.
The fees for the Academic Year 2023-24 are as follows. In response to parental feedback we are now pleased to offer formalised 1-, 2-, 3-night and weekly boarding packages. Day Fees per term. 1 night Boarding. 2 night Boarding.
