The band consisted of keyboardist Peter Robinson, bassist/singer John Gustafson, and drummer Mick Underwood. Robinson went on to Brand X, while Gustafson became a session musician and found work with Roxy Music, Gordon Giltrap, Steve Hackett, and many others. Underwood had no trouble finding work either.

Quatermass, formed by bassist John Gustafson (future Roxy Music), keyboardist (piano, Hammond, harpsichord, sinths and strings arrangement) Peter Robinson and percussionist Mick Underwood, three players from various backgrounds which tried a fusion between prog and hard rock.
John Gustavson came from an early 1960s band called The Big Three, based out of Liverpool, and overshadowed by the Beatles, after leaving Quatermass he was a session player for several artists, and can be found on three of Roxy Music's releases. Likewise Mick Underwood has worked with a variety of bands, including Ian Gillan's own Gillan.
