Q and Not U was a post-hardcore band from Washington, D.C., signed to Dischord Records.Members John Davis, Harris Klahr, Christopher Richards, and Matt Borlik formed the band in 1998.After Borlik's departure following the release of their first album, the band went on to record two more critically acclaimed LPs as a three-piece, exploring aspects of dance-punk and other disparate musical styles.

Q and Not U was a post-hardcore band from Washington, D.C., signed to Dischord Records. Members John Davis, Harris Klahr, Christopher Richards, and Matt Borlik formed the band in 1998.
Q And Not U toured extensively, in the U.S., Europe, Canada and Japan, with friends like Black Eyes, El Guapo (Supersystem), Antelope, Erase Eratta, Ted Leo/ Pharmacists, and many more. The band released their final album, "Power," in October 2004 and parted ways one year later.
Q and Not U. Washington, D.C.. John Davis, Harris Klahr and Chris Richards, formed Q And Not U in the summer of 1998 (along with former member Matt Borlik) and began playing out in November of that year. The band toured extensively and released three albums and three singles on Dischord before parting ways in 2004.
